Getting a number is the easy part. Understanding what drove it is where most teams hit a wall: more queries, more tabs, more time spent chasing an explanation that should have come with the answer.

Teela's Exploration tool changes that. When you need to understand why something happened, you ask. Teela collects supporting data across your database, analyzes the relationships between it, and returns its findings as a combination of plain-language text, charts, and tables. Not a single result: a full picture of what contributed to the outcome.

Ask why a product category underperformed last quarter and Teela doesn't hand you a number. It investigates: which regions, which customers, which time periods, what changed. Every finding is backed by visible, runnable SQL so you can see exactly how Teela got there. And when the investigation is complete, you can export the full findings as a formatted PDF or a multi-tab Excel spreadsheet to share with your team.

What this means for your team:

  • "Why" questions get real answers, not just raw data
  • Findings presented as text, charts, and tables in one view
  • Every conclusion backed by visible, runnable SQL
  • Export findings as a PDF or multi-tab Excel file
  • No more manually piecing together an explanation from a dozen separate queries

The answer to "why" shouldn't require a separate project. With Exploration, it doesn't.
